Systems Administrator Requirements:

  • Handle the Systems administration of the Lotus Notes mail systems, including user account administration and site replication consistency checks.
  • Provide Xen App 6/6.5 Citrix Farm Administration and policy management.
  • Handle user account and group administration in the Windows Active Directory environment.
  • Responsible for the administration of the backup environment including, managing daily, weekly and monthly backup to disk snapshots.
  • Monitor and respond to server alerting consoles; Solarwinds, Intelliwatch (Domino) and HP SIM.
  • Perform various operational tasks and document status in nightly Runsheet and Turnover Log.
  • Prepare and maintain LAN documentation and assist in the development of internal IS usage, security guidelines, availability, and support procedures.
  • Participate in network related projects and system rollouts, such as server patching, hardware replacement and server decommissioning as required.
  • Provide escalation support as required for regional offices. Typical escalation could come from the IS HelpDesk or Regional Office Managers and Administrators.
  • Our environment includes Lotus Notes/Domino 8.5.x, VMWare ESX/vSphere, Windows Server 2008, ACE/RSA Authentication, Citrix XenApp, iManage, Document Management system and BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Minimum three years experience in Network or System Administration. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar technology field preferred.
  • Knowledge of XenApp 6 or 6.5 Citrix Farm Administration.
  • Knowledge of Domino mail routing and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Domino mail Administration including user account administration, e-mail administration and replication tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting users’ remote access using RSA security tokens.
  • In-depth knowledge of backup and replication technology and systems.
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts and technologies.
  • Working knowledge of troubleshooting HP or Client server hardware.
  • Working knowledge of user account and group administration in Microsoft Windows Active Directory.
  • Solid problem solving skills and sound judgment are essential.
  • Extremely detail-oriented with superb organizational and time management skills.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to interact and work productively with other Information Systems teams.
  • Ability to work independently on project work and tasks and demonstrated initiative is appropriate.
  • Must be able and willing to work on a rotating schedule that may include nights and weekends.
  • Must have the ability to follow strict departmental procedures around email and data retention.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to produce detailed technical documentation that can be used by IS support staff.
  • Must be reachable via pager/Blackberry when necessary before or after normal working hours in order to meet the demands of the job and the needs of the firm.

This shift is Friday through Monday weekend shift:

Friday & Monday 9AM-5PM

Saturday & Sunday 9AM-9PM
