Cost Effective Companywide XP Migration
Client: International investment bank
Challenge: Our client needed to upgrade the desktop operating systems for thousands of employees, but couldn’t divert the internal resources required for such a large project without adversely effecting the company’s core business.
Solution: ICS was chosen to recruit a deployment team of engineers including build, deployment, front office desktop support, back office desktop support, and project team leaders. A Service Level Agreement was established to define the parameters of the deployment program for optimal workflow. Facets of the SLA included budget control, production timetable, status reporting, project team coordination, and quality assurance. The XP upgrade was rolled out to 3800 nodes, on time and in budget, and enhanced end user satisfaction.

Reduced Turnover as Primary Network Vendor
Client: Large financial institution
Challenge: On this project our client was facing unacceptably high turnover from IT engineers responsible for the company’s mission critical network infrastructure.
Solution: ICS replaced our client’s underperforming talent with a best-in-class team of IT network professionals (LAN/WAN/PM). Turnover was reduced by 30% and ICS is now the #1 vendor on-site for three years running.

Retained In-House IT Group
Client: Global entertainment company
Challenge: Our client utilized teams of independent consultants working directly for the company. Senior management enacted a company-wide edict that they could no longer have independent consultants working directly for the firm. Our client was faced with the dilemma of having to let go entire teams of consultants in order to be in compliance with the directive.
Solution: ICS created a unique solution by stepping in to serve as the company’s Professional Employer Organization. This allowed the company to retain its staff and perpetuate their benefits such as health care, dental coverage, and worker’s compensation. The client was further served by our streamlined billing system for multiple vendors, which helped to reduce payrolling and accounting overhead from human resources.

Stabilized 24/7 Help Desk
Client: Major financial institution
Challenge: Our client’s help desk was plagued with underperforming talent and high employee turnover that severely hampered the efficiency of the company’s operations.
Solution: ICS recruited a team of Wall Street veterans to run multiple shifts on a 24/7 Help Desk. These IT professionals were sourced from best in class client environments and helped bring about increased efficiencies by significantly reducing turnover and stabilizing the department.

Cost Effective Bilingual Team for Priority Government Audit
Client: US branch of large multinational bank
Challenge: A team of AML consultants was needed at the US headquarters of a large South American bank. Their role was to fulfill a government mandate for a “look back” review of all financial transactions over the past two years. The bank was faced with a narrow timeframe to source a large team of bilingual compliance professionals to implement the program.
Solution: Working under a tight schedule ICS successfully recruited and deployed a cost effective and scalable workforce of bilingual AML professionals. This allowed the client to continue its banking operations in the US without threat of government closure.
