Well established, well respected public accounting and business consulting firm in South Florida is currently seeking an Audit Manager. The ideal candidate will be a talented individual who has a strong accounting background, a desire to become an integral part of a professional team.
The Audit Manger will be a hands-on leader with at least 5 years of audit experience. Looking for someone that wants to grow their career and be part of a successful organization with established relationships already built in the local market. Essential Duties Include:
Oversee multiple client engagements; planning, executing, directing, and completing engagements in a wide variety of industries;
Develop and maintain excellent client relationships through superior customer service. Serve as the primary client contact on all related matters and directly interact with client owners and senior personnel;
Consulting, working with, and servicing client base to make recommendations on business improvement and process improvement and serve as a business advisor to clients;
Thorough knowledge and exposure to issues which include but are not limited to mergers and acquisitions, entrepreneurship, funding requirements, growth objectives and exit strategies;
Set and monitor budgets, scheduling staff and assigning workloads;
Think proactively about and be involved in practice development opportunities that cross sell to existing clients as well as new clients;
Provide valuable feedback and act as a mentor to staff to support growth and development.
Experience: 5+ years of progressive CPA firm experience
Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting (Required Minimum)
License: CPA (Required)
