Senior Financial Reporting Analyst position with a fortune 500 company in the South Florida area. This position reports to the Financial Reporting Manager and is responsible for assisting with the financial reporting for the company. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate compliance with SEC regulations as well as providing management with the tools needed to support the investment community.
Lead the preparation of the Forms 10-Q and 10-K for the Company's quarterly SEC filings.
Interface with the auditors as necessary.
Prepare and review workpapers to support compliance with government and other regulators.
Coordinate collection of information from across the company for use in disclosures
Assist with compilation and review of investor relations presentations.
Assist with disclosure-related U.S. GAAP and SEC research.
Continuously improve production process and disclosures
Provide support for financial audits and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Assist in monthly and quarterly variances analyses for management reporting. Conduct investigations of errors and variance analysis independently.
Respond to internal/external inquiries regarding financial data reported or filed.
Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): CPA or CPA candidate preferred
Minimum 3-4 years' experience in Accounting/Finance
Public Accounting and/or Public company experience preferred
XBRL experience a plus (for review or outsourced tagging)
