Senior Technical Accounting & Reporting Analyst

Responsibilities

Support the adoption of new accounting standards, including the amended guidance related to the measurement of credit losses on financial instruments

Partner with business unit colleagues on review of customer contracts, and perform initial review of revenue recognition treatment

Research and provide guidance on the proper accounting and disclosure treatment related to complex or unusual transactions to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP

Actively participate in the monthly close process, including preparation/review of significant rollforwards

Assist in preparation of quarterly global financial statements, as well as, required internal and external reporting materials

Requirements

Bachelor's in accounting and CPA preferred

3+ years' experience in Accounting/Finance with technical accounting responsibilities; public accounting experience highly preferred

Comprehensive understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, including ASC 606 revenue recognition standard

Strong research skills with the ability to apply relevant guidance and draft accounting memos to support conclusions

An experience base with specific exposure to the reporting complexities of international operations and SEC reporting experience

Strong knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley section 404 compliance
