Job Description - Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer

TITLE: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Remote (Near Shore)

Compensation Range : $45-60/hour



An ICS client is seeking a Sr. Full Stack JavaScript Engineer who will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the design and development of cloud native applications.



In this role, you will have the opportunity to innovate products and technologies for our organization's exciting and expanding opportunities ahead. The successful candidate will have a proven track record for creating efficient, scalable, and manageable enterprise level applications on AWS.



Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deliver innovative cloud native applications, high performance products and services
• Write multiple forms of testing, including in unit, integration, and end-to-end
• Create best-in-class software based on an understanding of business and technical priorities and needs
• Build out features across the entire development stack
• Drive new features as well as maintain existing code
• Understand the business well enough to align your development with company goals
• Create and share dev best practices and standards
• Collaborate on the design of new build outs and write tests to maximize efficiency
• Perform code reviews to ensure best practices are being employed

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building enterprise level cloud native applications
• JavaScript frameworks, Node and Angular 4+ required
• Modern JavaScript Build and Packaging Systems
• AWS
• Lambda, API Gateways
• REST API Development
• Mongo DB, MySQL DB
• Docker
• Micro-services design principles
• Continuous Integration tools
• Write HTML and CSS code
• Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries
• Functional and Object-Oriented Programming Patterns
• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational database systems and their tradeoffs in practice
• Code versioning tools such as Git
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Expert-level understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle
