ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - SALES / MARKETING

Flower Mound, TX

Contract to Hire Position




ICS is hiring an Administrative Assistant for our Client in the Flower Mound, TX area! The person in this position will be responsible for supporting Sales and Marketing Representatives in the field. Our ideal candidate would have P&C Insurance industry experience who is a self-starter with excellent organizational skills and will adapt and learn quickly in a new environment.



WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Customer onboarding and training via phone, webinar, and other methods
  • Phone and email marketing to active, in-active, and prospective agencies
  • Contact non-producing agents to ignite the flow of business for the current agent force
  • Perform online research and prospecting
  • Conduct quality assurance training for agencies based on audit results
  • Development of training manuals, standard operating procedure guides and implementation PowerPoints
  • Client Relationship Management system updates as needed
  • Assist with conference and trade show event preparation and planning
  • Mass mailout and email blast coordination and tracking
  • Customer appointment process and maintenance
  • Customer E&O and licensing maintenance
  • Customer sweep and commission account updates
  • Participate in weekly marketing calls and send recap to participants
  • Manage monthly agent commission spreadsheet
  • Customer 1099 handling (annually)
  • Process requests for product information and marketing materials
  • Gather and disseminate information through weekly and monthly reporting processes
  • Customer specific monthly reporting functions
  • Maintain all Marketing supplies and the organization of the surplus
  • Coordinate corporate activity and marketing calendars
  • Provide creative ideas and strategies for the marketing department

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:

  • 2+ years in an Adminstrative Assistant position
  • P&C insurance industry experience required
  • Strong interpersonal skills; verbal, non-verbal, listening, negotiating, problem-solving, decision-making, assertiveness, self-starter, creative
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgement
  • Always team focused
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven record of accomplishment in sales
  • Proficient computer skills with ability to function in all Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong computer and internet research abilities
  • Strong written, editing, grammatical, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • 2 years’ experience preferred
