Job Description - CISCO ISE Engineer ( REMOTE )

Immediate Opening: Senior-Level Cisco Security Engineer - This Position is Remote with up to 50% travel

The primary role of the Senior Level Cisco Security Engineer is to deliver—plan, design,

and implement—Cisco security solutions and products for our rapidly growing customer base. This includes providing subject matter expertise and project/service delivery for Cisco Security Solutions   including Cisco Client, Cisco FirePower and other Cisco Security

products.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engineer and implement Cisco security solutions within varying size clients up to
  • large enterprise environments.
  • Ability to complete High-Level and Low-Level network designs and manage proof of
  • concept (POC) projects.
  • Provide both on-site and remote customer project delivery and support
  • Immediate ownership of Cisco Client and Cisco FirePower projects



Qualifications and Experience

Your previous experience will include:

  • Candidate must have a solid background in the delivery of Cisco Security Solutions
  • and must be able to demonstrate hands-on experience, direct project ownership and
  • direct customer involvement
  • Proven experience in installing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • network security solutions and related technologies & tools, including: L2/L3
  • network devices, Cisco Client, 802.1x, Firewalls, Cisco FirePower, IDS/IPS
  • technologies, VPN Solutions, Web Application Firewalls, Content Filtering, NetFlow
  • Analysis
  • Working knowledge of Security Services, Networking, Security Policy, Consulting and Delivery
  • Minimum Cisco CCDP/CCNP certifications or higher experience
  • Strong diagnosis and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication skills

The ideal candidate will work with various customers to implement Cisco Security Solutions primarily focused on the implementation and upgrades of Client & FirePower deployments, and ASA to FirePower migration projects. Candidate should also be very familiar with policy enforcement solutions (Cisco ASA (FW/VPN), IDS/IPS, NAC and 802.1x). The individual will work customers while working as part of a delivery team and/or individually as the delivery lead. The individual will provide customers with technical and best practice guidance, hands-on configuration, deployment support, product training, and operational support.



The position calls for an individual who understands business operations, network

technology and security. The successful candidate must have demonstrated leadership specific to technical information security issues as well as understanding business processes and regulations. High-level communication skills are essential to successfully translate technology and security requirements into business requirements and terms.
