DATA OPERATIONS LEAD

DALLAS/FORT WORTH AREA



POSITION:


ICS is looking for a Data Services Lead to join our growing client in Dallas, TX who want to bring this function in-house! The ideal candidate will come from a Microsoft environment and thrive in a mid-sized, collaborative team where they are both hands-on and managing an offshore team!



WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Manage, mentor, and grow a number of subject matter experts in reporting, dashboards, and data
  • Collaborate with IT Business Intelligence on data sets and define prioritization of Data Services tickets from the team
  • Drive best practices within the team
  • Work within the team to drive automation of regular reporting functions
  • Develop and maintain relationships across our stakeholder groups in Business Unit management, Sales, Field Operations, Business Operations, and Marketing
  • Define our Data Services roadmap
  • Drive the scope and effectiveness of the data and analysis function.
  • Drive integration of company wide data into a centralized single data lake and modeled to support data analysis requirements from all functional groups
  • Work with the product, operations, and executive management teams to create a data enabled user journey.
  • Create and execute a plan for migration of the on-premise data warehouse into the cloud
  • Collaborate with all functions of the company to ensure data needs are addressed and the required data is modeled and available to analysts and end-users.
  • Build a multi-modal service model that meets the non-homogeneous needs of our functional groups—Full-service to Self-Service, and across our data stack.
  • Work with product, operations and executive management to maintain a holistic vision of the future of data, and help leadership plan for any changes in our data strategy or needs.
  • Responsible to set and maintain the data governance strategy across the company.
  • Leads and manages Agile data engineering teams responsible for implementing enterprise data platform technology assets in accordance with internal roadmap
  • Conducts reviews of new projects or enhancements to ensure that development work conforms with architectural standards. Monitor and incorporate industry innovations
  • Collaborate with analytics leaders across the organization to drive Data and Analytics awareness throughout the enterprise, to drive Company to a data driven enterprise
  • Create a master data management and governance strategy to establish single source of truth

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 7+ years of data analysis and reporting or related experience
  • 5+ years experience in call center or production environments
  • Drive the scope and effectiveness of the data and analysis function.
  • Drive integration of company wide data into a centralized single data lake and modeled to support data analysis requirements from all functional groups
  • Work with the product, operations, and executive management teams to create a data enabled user journey.

  • Experience in process improvement methodology including Six Sigma, PMP and or Agile certification.
  • Previous leadership experience in a complex, multi-site, multi-channel contact center and the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Experience building dashboards with SQL and enterprise software applications such as SFDC, SAP, Power BI, and/or Tableau
  • Demonstrated creative thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills including talent for conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations
  • Ability to document, prepare and present data-driven presentations
