IT Service Desk Representative - 2 Immediate Openings!
4-6 Month Contract to Hire
We are looking to add to our team of technical support representatives! Must have the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent verbal & written communcation skills, and a customer service driven mindset. Successful candidates must have working knowledge of Windows 7 computer systems (Knowledge of both Macs and PCs are a plus) and should be able to work with little supervision to provide a variety of support services enhancing the daily operations of over 30,000 users.
Assist remote end-users by phone and email
Create, respond to, prioritize, and escalate tickets as necessary
Follow set policies and procedures when assisting end users to ensure proper handling of requests
Provides timely responses and status updates to end users
Support of internal/proprietary and third party applications
Interfacing with onsite and remote in a professional and reliable manner
AAS Degree and/or Technical certifications are preferred, but not required
Experience with an IT ticketing system
Previous customer service, helpdesk or technical support experience
Ability to accurately collect and track information
Working knowledge of Windows 7 computer systems (Knowledge of both Macs and PCs are a plus).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to use precise wording and customer friendly language
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively
