Job Description - Jr. Systems Administrator/Developer
Our client is looking for a creative, talented and highly motivated developer/administrator to join the IT team. The position’s primary focus is in the areas of IT helpdesk support (computer hardware and software) . Responsibilities of the position are diverse, and will allow growth in IT and related fields, such as security implementation, database admin, website development, depending on employee’s capability and interests.
Provide IT helpdesk support for our local and regional offices.
Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks.
Desktop system management responsibilities involving account monitoring, security, system installation, and other local area system administration related functions.
BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum GPA of 3.4 out of 4.0.
Familiarity with Windows Active Directory, and GPO implementation.
Proficient in one or two scripting languages, such as Windows PowerShell, Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, or Python.
Familiarity with Linux, Windows, Networking (LAN and WAN).
Self-starter and fast learner with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Office 365 support and administration.
Experience with any major programming languages, such as Java, C/C++
