Provide service and support for the various locations within its Local and Wide Area Networks, including direct support of routers, switches, virtual networks, telecommunications, and other hardware and software as needed.
Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations
Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
Coordination with Corporate, Digital, and Operations teams on new digital field deployments.
Support our cloud network infrastructure at Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, and co-location facilities as needed.
Maintain switching and routing infrastructure, including updates, patching, security scanning, and risk mitigation.
Support virtualized environments running Hyper-V, VMWare, and Citrix.
Support Wireless network access points, including Cisco, as well as various other wireless technologies.
Provide billing support, verification, and upkeep of telecommunications vendors
Maintain Server room, AC, sensors, electric, UPS and Cabling
Provide on-call coverage during non-business hours.
Minimum job requirements:
3 to 5 years of experience in similar position.
BS degree in IT related field or equivalent experience preferred, in lieu of a BS degree, additional years of related work experience would be considered.
Cisco CCNA, CWNA, or CCNP or higher certification is highly preferred but not required.
Additional Industry certifications such as Microsoft MCITP, MCSE, Network +, Security +, CISA, or CISM are a plus
Excellent technical knowledge of mainstream systems software, protocols, and standards.
Experience supporting Virtualization technologies such as VMWare, Citrix, and Hyper-V.
Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers.
Proven network engineering, network operations, and network performance analysis skills.
Experience supporting and administering client-server systems such as Microsoft Windows Server, Mac OS X, and Linux client server networks.
Linux system administration is preferred.
Experience supporting Storage Area Networks is preferred.
Experience supporting Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud networking infrastructure is a plus.
Experience supporting Palo Alto Firewalls, Digi Routers and Cradlepoint Routers is a large plus.
