This client will train but looking for proven education and/or some experience working in technology related capacity! Most interested in the self-motivation and proven desire to be in InfoSec, Infrastructure – Networking, desktop, SOC, Server, SW Engineering space long term.
Our direct client is looking for the best and brightest "up and comers” !!! This is an entry-level IT position that aims to promote quickly internally to IT Support, Desktop, Network, Server, Field Tech, SOC engineering teams. Positive personality, aptitude to learn and reliability is key to success here!
NOC Tech works regularly with customers and must be able to troubleshoot all problems that may arise across Cisco, Linux, and Windows servers. NOC Tech responsible for resolving tickets received concerning the following: remote access (VPN) connectivity, network connectivity issues, printer issues, internet use and setting, network/email/ telephony password resets, server monitoring, and system backup. In some instances, the NOC Technician will alert triage, resolve client requests, and escalate tickets to higher level resources.
Monitor automated and end user incident and outage reporting, troubleshoot, and resolve problems
Create and maintain tickets with service providers and internal teams to drive incidents to resolution
Perform routine physical security walkthroughs and data center maintenance checklist
Consult with telecom and ISP vendors to resolve issues
Willingness to work flexible schedules and support a 24X7 operation
