We are looking for a highly motivated Salesforce Administrator to join the dynamic team at our Durham, NC site. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform. The successful candidate will also work closely with business partners to translate business vision into solutions built on the Salesforce platform. In addition to the core Salesforce Admin skillset, this role requires strong technical project management and analysis skills.
Serve as the primary Salesforce Administrator for an organization with 150+ users
Daily administration and technical/functional support for Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
Work closely with business partners to translate business vision into solutions on the Salesforce.com platform.
Design Salesforce.com solutions using standard configuration capabilities in both Salesforce Classic and Salesforce Lightning Experience
Full release management including creation of use cases and test plans as required
Document and maintain process, policies, application configuration, training and help related material for users
Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
Strong technical aptitude and personal willingness to learn additional skills as required to solution business requirements. Active user on the Salesforce Trailhead platform.
Fosters teamwork and collaboration across a global development team, project teams, and business and systems partners.
Enthusiasm to contribute as an agile team member and to complete tasks outside of primary discipline, such as business analysis or quality testing, when needed for success of the team.
Education and Experience
Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
Saleforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
Strong data management abilities
A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
Experience with nonprofit processes preferred
Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred
Skills and Knowledge
