Job Description - Senior Java Developer

As a Senior Software Engineer you will take ownership of the systems which clear all of our derivatives markets ranging from Crude Oil to Equities to Bitcoin.



About the role:

- Scale our systems to handle millions of additional daily trades

- Develop payment systems to process over six trillion USD in daily settlement

- Develop delivery systems to transfer ownership of Bonds, Equities, FX, Metals, and Bitcoin

- Transform our architecture to a component based model



About you:

- You have exceptional Java knowledge and hands-on experience

- You have experience working with SQL databases and designing schemas

- You have experience with Spring frameworks

- You have strong experience with JavaScript, REST/WebServices

- You have excellent problem-solving skills with a dedication to detail and quality

- You can learn a new business domain and technology quickly

- You can communicate in a consistent, clear, and accurate manner



Some additional skills that are great to have:

- You have used DB mapping tools such as Hibernate or myBatis

- You have used messaging services such as IBM MQ, JMS, etc

- You have developed concurrent systems using Java
