Job Description - Supply Chain Analyst

About the Position

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for accurately planning production and purchasing materials to ensure that finished goods are available to the company's domestic and international distributors and retailers. The expectation of this position is to make decisions alongside management and within the guidelines of our entrepreneurial organization.




  • Work closely with the New Product Development team to ensure on-time launch dates are meet for all brands against current inventory levels of finished product across warehouses.
  • Analyzes sales forecasts and is responsible for adequate finished product inventory levels that meet inventory level demands
  • Works closely with the sales team to make informed recommendations on scheduling production runs
  • Reconciles monthly reports from each of our production facilities and works closely with their teams to make sure the information they provide us is accurate and on time.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships across our supply chain


  • Negotiates and secured price quotations and terms with suppliers
  • Recommend suppliers for specific projects with respect to cost, quality and delivery competitiveness for assigned responsibilities  
  • Assures that the ordered products are delivered on schedule, at negotiated price, and meets the quality standards of the company
  • Maintains timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records
  • Coordinates appropriate methods needed to distribute products in a cost-effective manner to and from the supplier both domestically and internationally
  • Prepares purchase orders and other forms as directed and maintains accuracy while creating and verifying purchase information including proper product cost, correct volumes, and shipping instructions
  • Works directly with vendors, freight forwarders and logistics companies and coordinates freight costs, shipment and delivery schedules, physical inventory levels, inventory receipts, product labeling and packaging requirements
  • Keeps records of compliance requirements and submits any necessary paperwork for applications or renewals
  • Maintains supplier and pricing lists and works with vendors to confirm any price increases, decrease or volume discounts.
  • Order samples (i.e. labels, bottles) in order to help source and determine best vendors for upcoming projects
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • Minimum 1-3 years in supply chain and/or purchasing coordination. (beverage, spirits, beer industries are a plus)
  • Strong Excel, quantitative analysis skills and data management skills.
  • Organized, critical thinker, punctual, affable, adaptable
